Once upon a time, there
was a company called Metagaming.
Metagaming broke
new ground left and right and generally revolutionized the gaming hobby.
Steve Jackson
was definitely one of the
stars of that revolution.
Among his design
contributions was a wonderfully simple
and eminently playable role-playing rule system called...
As well-designed as "TFT" was, it could not escape the Axiom of Gaming.
"No RP System can escape a Game Master's tweaking"
As
has been observed by others than myself,
TFT's clean, simple design actually
made it
somewhat easier to alter rules.
Yet no matter the extent of the alterations,
we all
still proudly stated "I play TFT"
What
we have here are vintage memories mixed
with
a brand new campaign. Enjoy.
